Technical Clearing
One of the main tasks of AGCS is to determine balancing energy.
The balancing energy is determined for every hour per balance group in the balance area (in mid-month following the settlement month), and the schedules and metering values of dealers, providers and grid operators are sent to AGCS via an Internet-based system. Market participants may access the schedules sent and balancing energy volumes generated via their Internet access and can place bids for control reserve for the coming days. Precise surveillance and effective control of clearing is done by the clearing manager of AGCS.
