Object of Business:
AGCS Gas Clearing and Settlement AG is the imbalance settlement responsible party incl.
market operator & billing agent in Austria also called balance group coordinator (BKO) for
balance area Ost. The tasks comprise the administration of the balance groups as regards
organization and settlement as well as the calculation and allocation of balancing energy. Together
with the market participants, grid operators and system operators, the balance group coordinator is
responsible for orderly, neutral and anonymous settlement on the market for balancing energy.
